As a Lion

Brandon Guske began his career coming out of the bullpen for the Lions' 2014 season where he pitched in 42.1 innings. He picked up the first of his career's 31 wins in a relief outing on April 14, 2014, against Williams Baptist (Ark.) University.

In his sophomore campaign, Guske was named as the Lions' opening day starter where he notched a victory with a six-strikeout win.

In his junior year, he picked up his first shutout, keeping Marygrove (Mich.) College out of the run column.

At the time of his induction, Guske's name could be found throughout the FHU record book, with his 2015 season recording the most wins in a single season (12), while his 2016 campaign led him to hold the records for most strikeouts in a single season (106), most innings pitched (112.0), and most complete games (12).

For his career, Guske held the record for the most complete games (28), and lowest batting average against (0.220). He was tied for the most wins in program history with 31, second in earned run average (2.79), second in innings pitched (355.0), fourth in strikeouts (292), and fifth in appearances (70).

After FHU

Guske graduated from Freed-Hardeman in 2017 with a degree in Business Administration. He is currently the branch manager for a rental car company in Spring Hill, Tennessee.
