As a Lion

Terry Weeks, a native of Henderson, got Freed-Hardeman's softball program off the ground in 1991 as a volunteer coach.  Despite working with very little scholarship money, Weeks was able to establish the program in a short period of time.  In just his - and the program's - fifth season, the Lady Lions went 30-12.  Three years later in 1998, he led the team to a 35-17 record and a second-place finish in the conference tournament, earning the school's first-ever berth in the Region XI Tournament.  Weeks stepped away from the role in 1999, leaving FHU with a 132-95 career record.
