As a Lion

The Freed-Hardeman Lady Lion soccer team experienced a lot of success between 2007 and 2011 and much of that success can be attributed to Goalkeeper Tiffany Harris Forbis.

Throughout her career with the Lady Lions, Harris accumulated an impressive 547 career saves, which is 300 more than the next player on the list. During her senior season with the Lady Lions, Harris posted 10 clean sheets to guide FHU to a 10-6-3 record. Harris holds nearly every goalkeeper record in FHU history including career saves (547) and career saves per game (8.63).

Jason Elliott, head coach for the Lady Lion soccer program, said Harris was a key contributor to the success of the Lady Lions throughout her career.

“Tiffany was a great leader from the moment she arrived on campus,” Elliott said. “She had great hands and her reaction saves were tremendous. You could always count on her to save clear goals every time she played. Her athletic ability kept us in many games during her career.”

After Graduation

Following her graduation in 2011, Harris worked five years as an Employment Wellness Coordinator at West Tennessee Healthcare in Jackson, Tennessee. Currently, she serves as an Account Developer for Coca Cola in Jackson, Tennessee. She is married to Brian Forbis, who is a 2009 graduate of FHU.
