HENDERSON, Tenn. — With an even series going into game three, the (RV) Freed Hardeman Lions fell to the Thomas More (Ky.) Saints 4-2. After an extended lightning delay, the ballgame was called in the top of the sixth inning.

The Lions (13-11, 3-6 MSC) started off on the right track with Zach Sanders getting hit by a pitch. Will McCall brought home Sanders on an RBI triple to help the Lions go up 1-0; however, the Lions were not done scoring. Sean Rooney grounded out to the shortstop to help bring McCall home and extend the Lions' lead to 2-0.

The Saints (12-10, 5-4 MSC) answered back in the top of the fifth inning with four runs of their very own. McCall and Mason Libla had the Lions' only hits in the ballgame.

Colton Huntt (3-2) got the start for the Lions on the mound and pitched four and two-thirds innings while allowing five hits and striking out six batters. Cam Jennings entered the ballgame and pitched one inning before the cancellation.
