New era of Lady Lion soccer begins with Lindsay Riggs

22 years after taking over as the head coach of the Lady Lions, Jason Elliott will step back from the women's game to focus on the Lion soccer program. With big shoes to fill, Athletic Director Jonathan Estes concluded after a lengthy search that the right woman to become the third head women's soccer coach at Freed-Hardeman University was FHU alumna Lindsay Riggs.

It has been a busy month for the Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lion soccer program with the addition of two more to their 2023 roster. Homeschooled Sophia Gravot - who played her prep years for the Middle Tennessee Golden Eagles - joins Mt. Juilet High School's Abby Schwarz.

The Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions soccer program has added two players to the roster for the 2023 campaign. Stone Memorial High School's Haley Suggs joins Greenbrier High School's Gracie Trice on their collegiate journey to Henderson.

Lady Lions sign Goodpasture defender

The Freed-Hardeman University women’s soccer program has inked Addison Greene, according to head coach Jason Elliott. Greene is a defender from Goodpasture Christian School and will enroll this fall with plans to major in Art and Graphic Design.

Lady Lions soccer adds Lexi Lewis

The Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions soccer program has announced the signing of Lexi Lewis, according to head coach Jason Elliott. Lexi will begin this fall with the plans to major in Marketing and minor in Graphics Design. The Georgia Christian School and United Futbol Academy standout can play multiple midfield positions.
