Cheerleaders Gearing up for Annual Car Show

HENDERSON, Tenn. - The new school year has not even begun, but the FHU cheerleaders are already in full swing in preparation for the annual car show set to take place on Saturday, September 12.

As part of the Hall of Fame weekend each year, the cheerleading squad organizes a car, truck, and motorcycle show in order to raise money for the upcoming year. The car show will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Brewer Sports Center parking lot.

The entry fee for the car show is $25 if you register the day of the event plus $10 for additional vehicles registered.. Early registration (registrations received prior to August 31) will be $20.

Sponsorship opportunities and vendor booths will be available to individuals interested in promoting their business. Sponsorship and vendor forms can be found on the Cheerleading page at gofhulions.com.

Coinciding with the Hall of Fame weekend and the car show will be the annual FHU baseball Alumni Day consisting of a high school showcase, alumni home run derby and Lion baseball inter-squad match up.

The Hall of Fame weekend will kick off on Friday, September 11 with the Hall of Fame Dinner and the induction of the 2015 members of the Hall of Fame.
