FHU soccer signs Arkansas standout

PARAGOULD, Ark. — Bolstering their attack for the 2023 season, Freed-Hardeman University's soccer program signed Luke Summitt out of Crowley's Ridge Academy.

Summitt notched a state-leading 17 assists while finishing in second place in Arkansas with 77 points. His 30 goals led the Falcons and placed him as the third-best scorer in the state.

For his exploits on the pitch, Summitt was honored to the 2022 Arkansas Activities Association's 3A All-State Team.

In 2023 he helped lead CRA to a perfect 12-0 conference record, winning the 3A North Conference Championship. Summitt was named to both the All-Conference and the All-State teams.
