Lions Track Get Two First-Place Finishes at the Hendrix Invitational

Conway, Ar– In their second competition of the season, the Freed-Hardeman men's and women's track and field teams had two first-place finishes on Saturday at the Hendrix Invitational.

Among those first-place finishes was Daniel Arnhold in the men's discus finals and Jess Musselman in the women's 800 meters. Both Arnhold and Musselman were named MSC athletes of the week on Tuesday. 

Other top finishes included Sean Janic finishing second in the men's 400 meter finals, Tori Ford finishing fourth in the women's 200 meters and sixth in the 400 meters and Brooke Jordison and Leeza Martin finishing second and third, respectively, in the women's javelin finals.

Up Next: After a strong performance in Arkansas, the Lions and Lady Lions will head to Murray, Ky for their next competition at the Margaret Simmons Invitational on March 25th and 26th.
