Men’s and Women’s Track Compete in Murray, Ky

Murray, Ky– After a stellar performance in their last competition, the Freed-Hardeman men's and women's track teams competed in the Margaret Simmons Invitational in Murray, Ky.

Freshman Evan Kimes had the best finish of the day for the Lions, coming in sixth in the Men's 10,000 meters with a time of 35:36. Other notable finishes were Jess Musselman in seventh in the Women's 800 meters, Madison Grant also in seventh in the Women's 5,000 meters and Sean Janic in twelfth in the Men's 400 meters. 

The men's relay team, consisted of Trevor Roberts, Alex Tucker, Sean Janic and Drew Williams, also finished sixth in the 800 meter relay.
