HENDERSON, Tenn. – After a sucessful season on the track, Freed-Hardeman University saw both its men's and women's track and field programs named as USTFCCCA Track & Field All-Academic teams.

For the team honor, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association requires a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00. With the men combining for 3.21 and the women earning a 3.52, Freed-Hardeman was one of over 50 programs in each gender to earn the distinction.

In addition to the team awards, both Nathan Mangram and Matthew Ray were selected as All-Academic athletes. To be chosen for the individual honor, student-athletes must maintain a minumum of 3.25 GPA.
