Abby Stutts is entering her foure season as the assistant coach for the Lady Lions basketball program.

Stutts brings coaching experience at the high school level to FHU after serving as the head varsity coach for Lexington High School in Alabama last year and serving as the assistant varsity coach and head junior varsity coach since 2016, where her teams made two sub-region appearances.

She graduated from Mars Hill Bible School in 2016 where she was All-State and All-Area, as well as the MVP in 2016. She holds the single-season total 3-pointers record at Mars Hill and is No. 2 all time in 3-pointers made at Mars Hill. She is fourth all-time in boys’ and girls’ combined at Mars Hill from behind the arc. On the volleyball court, she was All-Area and MVP in 2016.

Stutts graduated from the University of North Alabama in December of 2019 with a degree in Elementary Education. She is the sister of FHU head men’s basketball coach Drew Stutts and the daughter of Miles and Carla Stutts.
