BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- After severe weather in Bowling Green, the women's golf team was able to get in 27 holes of play before being suspended due to darkness. The Lady Lions were supposed to play 36 holes today, but managed to get in what they could after thunderstorms delayed starting times by several hours. The team shot 334 in their first round and will finish the second round tomorrow morning with the final round immediately after.

Freshman Makenzie Wilson shot 82 (+10) in her first round. One stroke behind her was junior Bailey Gilbert with 83 (+11). Just one stroke behind Gilbert was senior Camille Blaylock, shooting 84 (+12). Next was sophomore Reagan Malone, who shot 85 (+13). Sophomore Riya Key rounded out the team's score with an 87 (+15).

The Lady Lions are currently in solo 7th place. They are five strokes behind Campbellsville University (Ky.) and are one stroke ahead of Bethel University (Tenn.). The second round will resume at 7:30am with the final round to follow.
