HENDERSON, Tenn. — Celebrating both the men's and women's soccer seniors at the intermission between the matches, seniors Morgan Leighton, Jessica Musselman, Camryn Kime, Bianca Albrecht, and Haley Miller would have to wait until the end of their match to enjoy the festivities. The festivities were well-earned, with the whistle blowing at 90:00 with both Freed-Hardeman and Bethel (Tenn.) University sitting on one goal to draw the match 1-1.

It was an eventful, albeit, unfruitful first half with the teams combining for 12 shots where Freed-Hardeman (5-10-2, 1-8-1 MSC) had four shots on target, but all saved by the Bethel keeper. Brooke Latham kept out all five Wildcat shots on goal with saves.

It was the Lady Lions to draw first blood in the 60th minute when Pia Grosse, returning from a short absence found the net thanks to Sara Becerra's assist to put FHU ahead 1-0. The Lady Lions were able to hold that lead for nearly 20 minutes before Bethel (6-6-3, 2-5-3 MSC) answered with the equalizer from Nathalie Rojas at 77:34.

At full-time, the Wildcats recorded 18 shots, doubling up FHU who sent nine toward the net. Latham recorded 10 saves in the draw.
