Lady Lions soccer adds Lexi Lewis

VALDOSTA, Ga. — The Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions soccer program has announced the signing of Lexi Lewis, according to head coach Jason Elliott.  Lexi will begin this fall with the plans to major in Marketing and minor in Graphics Design.  The Georgia Christian School and United Futbol Academy standout can play multiple midfield positions.

During her high school career, Lewis was All-Region and GISA All-State for two seasons while also being team captain in her junior and senior seasons.  Georgia Christian won the state championship in her junior season.  "I chose Freed-Hardeman University because of the atmosphere and the opportunity to grow closer to God," said Lewis.  She is a member of the Forrest Park Church of Christ.

"Lexi impressed us in many ways when she was on campus and practiced with us," said Coach Elliott. "She has a great attitude, is a team-first player, and listens.  I can tell that she will really do well here with her work rate and vision on the field. We look forward to having her on campus soon."
