MADISON, Tenn. — The Freed-Hardeman University women's soccer program has inked Addison Greene, according to head coach Jason Elliott. Greene is a midfielder from Goodpasture Christian School and will enroll this fall with plans to major in Art and Graphic Design.

Greene has played for the Eagle Express Soccer Club, Tennessee United Soccer Club, NUSA 05 Maroon, and McGavock High School along with excelling at Goodpasture. She excelled in the classroom with honor roll, scholastic art, writing awards, and perfect attendance.  On the pitch, she won the MVP, Spotlight award, and all-district team multiple seasons.  "Addison really impressed us with her athletic ability and pace on the back line," said Coach Elliott. "She is a great addition to our program and the campus. We anticipate her developing into a solid midfielder at this level."

Greene said of her decision, "I want to remain in a Christian environment. Being an athlete, and going to school can be time-consuming, therefore finding time for the Lord can be difficult. Going to FHU I will always have a time of day to put my focus on Him. I also love being in a smaller environment and being able to connect with my professors more personally."
