Lady Lions swept by Saints

CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. — The Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions fell in each match of their dual with Thomas More (Ky.) University 7-0.
On the No. 1 doubles court for the Lady Lions, (3-8, 1-7 MSC) Julianna Alves and Michelle Lancaster lost 6-4 before Morgan Brown and Elise Kruzan fell 6-0. Hannah Pearce and Delfina Rodriguez-Molina dropped the final doubles match 6-2.
With the doubles point in hand, Thomas More (5-8, 2-5 MSC) kept the momentum with Lancaster falling 6-2, 6-4 while Alves lost on the No. 2 court 6-2, 6-0. Kruzan and Brown both lost 6-0, 6-0, while Peace fell 6-0, 6-1.
Rodrigez-Molina had the tightest singles match on the No. 3 court with the Lady Lion bouncing back after falling 6-2 in the first second with a 7-5 set win. The rubber set went far beyond the normal six with the senior falling 10-8 to close the day.
