Lions Track and Field Compete in 22’ Season Opener

Clinton, MS– The Freed-Hardeman men's and women's track and field team competed in their first meet of the 22' season Saturday at the Mississippi College Season Opener.

Nathan Mangrum finished atop the leaderboard in the men's 1000 with a time of 34:44.56. In the same heat, Evan Kimes finished fifth with a time of 37:02.35. Jacob England finished ninth in the men's 1500 with a time of 4:15.92. Tori Ford and Jessica Musselman each finished fifth in the women's 400 and 800 dash, respectively. 

Up Next: After their season opener, the Lions next competition will be Saturday March 12th at the Hendrix Invitational in Conway, AR.
