Lady Lions Set Three School Records at Sewanee

Sewanee, Tenn– In their final competition before conference championships, the FHU men's and women's track and field teams had multiple first place finishes at the Mtn. Laurel Invitational this weekend.

Among those top finishes were sophomores Jess Musselman, Madison Grant and Brooke Jordison, placing first in the women's 1500 Meters, 3000 Meters and Javelin, respectively. All of these finishes were also school records for their respective events. 

On the men's side, Sophomore Keegan Maguffee finished second in javelin and third in shot put. Other finishes included Junior Daniel Arnhold finishing third in the men's discus, and Nathan Mangrum and Matthew Ray finishing fifth and sixth in the 1500 Meters.

Up Next: As they close out their regular season, FHU track's next competition will be at the MSC Conference Championships in Williamsburg, Ky on May 1-2.
