Addi Burchett named Champion of Character, one of 11 Academic All-MSC

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The Mid-South Conference announced the Women's Track and Field Academic All-Conference and Champions of Character teams. The Lady Lions had 11 players honored.
Addi Burchett was selected as FHU's Champion of Character. According to the MSC, "The MSC recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes that are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA." Showing the five core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership, Burchett was nominated by Coach Derrick Spradlin.
Also announced on Monday was the Academic All-Conference team. By maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.25 on a 4.00 scale, these student-athletes in at least their third term were honored:

Lauren Taylor
