PAINTSVILLE, Ky. — Head volleyball coach Amanda Cunningham continues to shape the team for her first season at the helm of FHU's volleyball program with the addition of Paintsville, Kentucky's Blair Ratliff.

Ratliff is a proven winner, helping lead the Paintsville High School Tigers to the Kentucky All "A" Classic championships where she was the tournament's most valuable player. The 5-11 middle blocker also helped her PHS to Region 15 titles twice and four years of District 57 championships. Twice the Tigers' captain, Ratliff tallied the most blocks in Kentucky's 15th region three times.

"I am so excited to be joining the FHU volleyball family this fall," said the new Lady Lion. "I can't wait to develop more skills and grow not only as a volleyball player but also as a person under the amazing coaches and staff. Go Lions!"

A force in the classroom as well as on the court, Ratliff will graduate within the top three of her graduating class, earning all As for her four years of high school.

Coach Cunningham said of her new charge, "Blair is a great addition to our 2023 roster. She will bring size and championship experience to our front row. I can't wait to see how much she grows during her time here.
