Before FHU

Was twice chosen as the 5A Player of the Year, was twice selected to the "Super-12" All-Region Team, and finished as the state runners-up three times.

2021 (Freshman)

The backup setter saw action in 19 sets, collecting nine kills, and 110 assists.

2022 (Sophomore)

Mayes competed in all 31 matches during the 2022 season

Williams Baptist (8/26) recorded one kill and 19 assists… Harris-Stowe (8/26) put together a huge game with two kills, 15 assists, and seven digs… Lyon (8/27) had 21 assists… Williams Baptist (8/30) season-high five kills, along with 12 assists and six digs… Lane (9/3) recorded two kills, 21 assists, and five digs… Lindsey Wilson (9/16) season-high 26 assists to go with 12 digs
