Lady Lion volleyball picks up AVCA Team Academic Award

LEXINGTON, Tenn. — The American Volleyball Coaches Association and the United States Marine Corps have continued their partnership in recognizing the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award.

In 2023, 1,333 collegiate and high school teams earned the distinction by maintaining a year-long GPA of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The 2022 Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions were able to win the award with their work in the classroom
