Lady Lions cross country runs in Rhodes College invitational

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The women's cross country team finished eighth at the Rhodes (Tenn.) College Invitational at Shelby Farms. They competed against 13 other universities and finished their 5K with a final score of 197 with an average time of 21:56.

Zena Dorris would lead her team with a 20:12 race time. Freshman Eliza Poe and Megan Lampley finished close behind her. Poe crossed the finish line at 20:59 and Lampley finished at 21:03. 

Allison Walker and Addi Burchett also had a great race and set new personal records for themselves.

The Lady Lions will be running again on October 1st in the Live in the Lou Cross Country Classic held in Louisville, Kentucky.
