Lions make up 14 shots in final round

BRUNSWICK, Ga. - The Lions wrapped up the Coastal Georgia Winter Invitational by improving on their first and second round totals. The men's golf team shot 313 in the final round, which led them to a tie with Brewton-Parker (Ga.) College for 15th place. 

EJ Hill led the way for the Lions. The junior shot an even par 72 with three birdies and three bogeys. This put Hill in a tie for 61st place. Finishing just one stroke behind Hill was Bowman Blocker. The senior fired 77 (+5) in the final round putting him in a tie for 68th place. Up next was junior Tyler Rhodes shooting 80 (+8) in his final round. Next was senior Wesley Graham who shot 84 (+12) in the third round. Rounding out the team's scores were junior Austin Warren, shooting 88 (+16) in the final round. 

Next, the Lions will travel to Killen, Alabama, where they will play at Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club as they compete in the FHU Spring Invitational hosted by Freed-Hardeman. This event will take place March 6th-7th.
