Lions remain in 6th after round two

KILLEN, Al.- The Lions maintained their 6th place spot after the final round of the FHU Spring Invitational at Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club. The team shot 333 in the second round. 

Junior Tyler Rhodes shot a final round 81 (+9). This allowed him to finish in a tie for 19th place. Junior EJ Hill also shot a final round 81 (+9) and finished in 25th. Senior Bowman Blocker shot 85 (+13) in his final round, putting him in a tie for 31st. Junior Austin Warren was one stroke behind Blocker with an 86 (+14). Senior Wes Graham rounded out the teams score with an 87 (+15). 

The Lions finished in 6th place, 12 shots behind Mississippi University for Women (Miss.) and 38 strokes ahead of Crowley's Ridge College (Ark.). Next, the Lions will compete in the Blue Mountain Christian University (Miss.) Spring Golf Classic on March 20-21st at the Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi.
