Lions wrap up in Mississippi

WEST POINT, MS- The men's golf team finished up the Blue Mountain Golf Classic at the Mossy Oak Golf Course today. The Lions improved on their first round totals by shooting 323 as a team. 

First up today was junior Tyler Rhodes. Rhodes took 13 strokes off of his first round score by shooting 77 (+5). Following Rhodes was senior Bowman Blocker, shooting 78 (+6) in his final round. Junior EJ Hill shot 82 (+10) as sophomore Ben Shelton improved on his first round by shooting 86 (+14). Rounding out today's totals was junior Austin Warren, shooting 90 (+18). 

The Lions improved as a team by 19 strokes and finished in a tie for 11th place with Mississippi University for Women (Ms.). Up next, the Lions will play in the Mid-South Conference Spring Preview hosted at The Bear Trace Cumberland Mountain in Crossville, Tennessee on April 3-4.
