Mid-South Conference announces Softball Players of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Freed-Hardeman's (Tenn.) Brittany Adair and Thomas More's (Ky.) Maclai Branson are the Mid-South Conference Softball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

MSC Softball Pitcher of the Week
Brittany Adair – Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) – Sr. – Pitcher – Spring Hill, Tenn.
- Adair pitched a complete-game shutout in a 4-0 victory against Lindsey Wilson.
- She allowed four hits, four walks and 11 strikeouts in the win.
- With the shutout, Adair recorded her 25th career shutout setting a program record.
- She earns weekly honors for the second time this season and sixth in her career.
MSC Softball Player of the Week
Maclai Branson – Thomas More (Ky.) – Gr. – Short Stop – Union, Ky.
- Branson batted .684 (13-of-19) in five games.
- She had three hits in four of the five games.
- Branson hit three home runs and recorded 11 RBIs.
- She finished with a slugging percentage of 1.526.
- Wheeler finished with a slugging percentage of 1.273.
- She earns weekly honors for the first time this season and in her career.
